Mariah Carey is definitely smiling. It has been reported that Miss. Carey has officially surpassed Elvis Presley in the billboard charts for the number one hit singles to reach the top position.

“I really can never put myself in the category of people who have not only revolutionized music but also changed the world,” Carey told The Associated Press

Touch My Body has reached number 1 with 2,860,000 downloads. (Unbelievable, I'm not a fan of that single, didn't know it'd do so well.) Mariah says that:

“For me, in my mind the accomplishment is just that much sweeter,” she said. “In terms of my ethnicity, always feeling like an outsider, always feeling different … for me it’s about saying, ‘Thank you Lord, for giving me the faith to believe in myself when other people had written me off.’”

Again, I'm a little shocked she surpassed the legendary Elvis Presley, but I'm very happy for her because regardless of her weird ways.. (walkin' around half naked, and you gotta admit the woman is a 'lil weird) she can definitely sing. Get it Mariah!
