My friend Matt from Coalmine Records told me about DJ Premier spinning at APT every 3rd Monday of the month. So at the very last minute Matt and I decided to check it out, we arrived there at 1AM when Dj Premier just started getting on the turntables. I loved the crowd, the atmosphere, and the music (similar to Q-Tip's style @ Santos Party House). Only thing I don't like is the venue is so tiny it's like everyone's on top of eachother and there's no room to dance. Dj Premier has a good following, he definitely needs a bigger venue to Dj at.
