All That's Fab Attends the Hollywood Moon Tour @ Love
HollyWood Holt and Kid Cudi kicked off their Hollywood Moon Tour last night at Love here in NY. I'm telling you guys, I have a thing for this Kid Cudi character. He's the newest signee to Kanye's label, G.O.O.D. Music, and I like his style. He may look a little off in on the above flyer, but he puts on a damn good show. Check out the All That's Fab recap after the jump.
First off, let me just say that we loved the venue. The concert was held at Love, a random club on McDougal street (where?) in, I'm guessing, the Lower East Side. On the inside, Love looked like a well-hidden cave with cool lighting, a bar and a DJ booth. It was intimate, the drinks were decently priced, and it looked like nothing I had ever seen before.
We got there around 10, and the first act didn't go on until about 12. This was cool though, because the DJ, I believe it was Million $ Mano, was workin' it out. We also spotted The Kidz in the Hall in chillin' in the crowd.
Kid Cudi finally came on, (after a very strange opening act), and brought the house down, as usual. You can check out footage of his performance in the video below:
via Herfection We didn't stay for Hollywood Holt, because it was way too late and we were way too tired. (During the week, we try not to stay out past 1am because we have J-O-Bs. However, we do hear he has a great buzz. We had a great time at this show, and I'd be interested in hitting up another one of his shows in the future to check him out.
