Patron/Blender Magazine/T.I Event Recap
By 8:00pm, the Knitting Factory already closed their doors to the anxious Q-tip fans standing outside. My friend called me and told me it was way too hectic, so I didn't even bother with it. I decided to hit up the Patron/T.I event held at Marquee. I knew it was gonna be hellish getting in but I took my chances anyway. The line to get into Marquee was literally wrapped around the block, but thanks to one of my good friends that had to pull some strings, my friend and I got in swiftly. This was a great party! Keep reading to find out who showed up:Where do I start? Everyone came through. Sway from MTV, Wendy Williams, J.D, Flo-Rida, Fabolous, Julissa, Trey Songz, & some random NFL players. It was a good crowd, great atmosphere, and the Patron on the house definitely made the night better. I loved how you could take a photo in the back of the club, and in the front there was a huge projector-screen where your picture would show up.
J.D. appeared to be enjoying himself.
Thanks Sway and Rich for introducing me to Coffee Patron, didn't know that stuff existed. (A new way to start your morning! lol just joking)
I have a new favorite DJ. Dj Berrie was definitely spinning the right music for this event.
I was really happy to see Wendy Williams. She's really a nice and sociable person.
I spotted Trey Songz sitting at T.I's table, I don't think he left that spot all night. I don't blame him 'cause of all those groupies crowding around the table.
Flo-Rida headed to Guesthouse after Marquee where he was poppin bottles. Others I saw at Guesthouse were Avant and Fabolous.
And good friends of mine, Jay & Brian (Kendall Holt's publicists) also came out.
The T.I performance sounded like a whole bunch of muffles and yells. All he did was stand on the table and yell in the mic over his music. This was an event I'm happy I didn't miss.
