Pics and Video: Common and N.E.R.D. Rock Roseland Ballroom
N.E.R.D. is one of my favorite acts, and Tini LOVES Common, so you know there's no way we were going to miss this show. (Shout out to the homie, Franz, for scoring me an extra ticket!)
We managed to bumrush our way to the front of the crowd just in time for N.E.R.D. to hit the stage, and it was all uphill from there. Chad was missing in action., but that didn't stop the show at all.
The group's energy on stage was crazy, and I really had the time of my life. They performed just about everything that I wanted to hear except I wish they would have done more songs off of their first album.
Diddy was also in the building, and Pharrell definitely made sure to shout him out and recognize him as one of the people that helped to bring N.E.R.D. to fruition. Capricorn ("I Want to Work Diddy") and Cassie were with him as well.
After a while, they let fans jump on stage and wild out.
And you know Pharrell invited a bunch of girls from the audience up on stage during "Everybody NOSE" and "She Wants to Move". It was crazy!
Common came out after their set, and did not disappoint either.

I really enjoyed myself, and both N.E.R.D. and Pharrell put on a damn good show. Check the footage of Common and Pharrell performing "Universal Mind Control" and Common performing "NY State of Mind" to get a glimpse of how high energy the show was.

Cee-Lo Green also made an appearance as well. Good times! This was definitely one of the best shows I've been to all year.
