Now I was not a huge follower of Q-Tip, but now I truly am. This man is so talented. Me and Martine of ATF got to attend the taping of Vh1 Soul Stage featuring Q-Tip. This man took his fans all the way back to his Tribe called Quest days. He was so energetic and comical. Martine was in her glory watching the show. Earlier that day we actually got to do a interview with him and get inside his head a bit. Be on the look out for that exclusive interview. More after the jump...

            

I gained a whole new respect for Hip Hop after talking to him and watching him perform. Hip Hop truly needs a change. Q-tip is real Hip Hop, and I learned that yesterday. The show was very entertaining from srat to finish. He kept the audience engaged. I'm sorry readers I didn't know any of the songs he performed lol, but Martine and the rest of the crowd truly did....I just know he sure did perform my song Vibrant Thing. That was my jam when I younger. He had me bobbing my head to the side lol.

We actually also found out that Q-tip will be touring the country with Santogold & The Cool Kids, so look out for him in a city near you. He will be performing at the Nokia Theatre in NYC on December 2nd...
