Fab Man of the Week: Emmi Grullon

Now our current Fab Man of the week is Emmi Grullon. He is a model/actor who is trying to take the industry by storm. He has appeared along side Denzel Washington & Dave Chappelle. Emmi Grullon Occupation: Actor/Model Age: 22 Status: Single, focusing on career Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius Ian: So Emmi where did you go to school? Emmi: I went to Lincoln Tech, I went to school for architecture. I have always been interested in that type of stuff. But acting and modeling is my dream and passion. Ian: So if you weren’t a model, do you think you would be an architect? Emmi: If wasn’t a model, I would work behind the scenes. I would like to help people break into the industry. I would be like an agent or something. Ian: If you had to choose a reality show to be on, which would it be? Emmi: I would have to say. VH1’s Viva La Vida. The Spanish soap opera show. I actually auditioned but they said that I wasn’t Latin enough (laugh). Ian: How is a Dominican not Latin enough? EG: Since I don’t have a heavy accent I guess. I don’t really look Latin. I get mistaken for black and white a lot. This helps me a lot in getting gigs. Ian: Now a follow up question, if you had to be on any TV show, what would that be? Emmi: That’s an easy one, Fresh prince of Bel-Air. Will Smith is my idol; I would love to have worked with Will when his career was just starting. I really look up to Will Smith. Ian: Who are some of your idols? Emmi: Denzel Washington is definitely one of my idols. I actually got to work with him in the film, The Manchurian Candidate, I was just an extra in that movie. He gave me the best advice thought. He told me “follow your dreams, stay motivated, and block those who don’t believe in you”. Those few words stay with me 'till this day. My other idols are Johnny Depp he is such a chameleon in his acting style. One of my favorite movies of his is Edward Scissor Hands. Last but not least, Jennifer Lopez she's a mogul, and she has done everything Ian: Now speaking of Jennifer Lopez, she has changed a lot over the years. She went from the around the way girl to a superstar. In her most recent hit films, she only co-stars with white men. If you got to her level success, do you feel you would change? Emmi: I don’t think I would change at all. I am all about my heritage. But respect all women, so I would star opposite anyone. I just want to be a chameleon in my craft. Ian: Would you ever go nude in a movie? Emmi: If the script was good and the money was right, I would. I am very confident with myself. There have been some good films that featured male nudity. But like I said if the script and the money was right, I would do it. Ian: A lot of actors these days play gay roles, do you think you would ever play a gay man? Emmi: Yeah I would go gay for a movie. Will Smith, Johnny Depp, Matt damon, they all played gay roles before. I don’t think there is anything wrong with gay people. The only thing that is different about them from me is that they like the same sex. Ian: Most of them usually win awards after they play these roles, do you ever dream of winning and award? Emmi: Yes, my dream is to win an Emmy award. Ian: Emmi wants to win Emmy (laughs). So what was the worst casting you have ever been on? Emmi: The Manchurian Candidate was the worst of them all.. I was there from 7 in the morning in a blizzard. Stood outside for two or three hours, 100 people were already there in front of me. But this is my passion, so I will do what I have to do.

Favorite Artists: 2pac & Luther Vandross Favorite genre of music: Alternative, especially Coldplay Favorite network: ABC Favorite clubs in NYC: Providence & Touch Ian: Name some people in the industry, that you can call a friend…: Miguel Perdomo (Sean John model), Brian Carmouche (make-Up artist), Jessica Perez (TV Host), Jaslene Gonzalez (ANTM), and Nicole (Nina Sky) Ian: Tell our readers what have you done in that past? Emmi: Acting wise I have done: Dave Chappelle Show: Second Season LL Cool J video: Baby Keyshia Cole video: Let it Go MTV’s Man & Wife with Fatman Scoop Ian: What have you done modeling wise? Emmi: Modeling wise I have done: The Loot ad FB Jean from LA Giant Magazine Dominican Life Magazine What the ladies want to know… I am HUGE family person. I plan to get married in my early 30’s I want 4 kids. I like big families; I am the youngest of four kids. I believe in being friends first. I like to build. I am very big on sex, some may say I am a freak in the bed… let me stop (laughs) I’m a very sexual person. I grew up watching porn with brother, so its’ hard to not love sex. The ATF readers should be interested in me because I am trying to be a role model, and love helping people I am very nice guy, and I am just reaching for my dreams….
