Much respect has to be given to Heath Ledger. Last night at the 2009 Golden Globes, Ledger won a Golden Globe for best supporting actor for his role as The Joker in "The Dark Knight". I was not shocked by this AT ALL by him winning, Ledger did an amazing job in this film. You can stell he went to a very dark place while shooting. This was a much deserved honor for Heath. I know this has to be a bitter sweet moment for his family.

This win boosts Ledger's chances for the best supporting-actor nod at the Academy Awards. The nominations come out Jan. 22, the one-year anniversary of the actor's death from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. I hope he goes all the way!!!
