According to the NYPost, the Queen of R&B/HipHop got quite the surprise last night for her birthday last weekend:

"Mary J. Blige got quite the shock on her 38th birthday. The singer's manager and husband, Kendu Isaacs, invited Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Russell Simmons, Busta Rhymes and embattled Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury to toast Blige at an intimate surprise party at Mr. West Lounge on Saturday night. The 70 guests drank champagne and vodka and ate a cake so large that it had to be carried out by two people."

Awww isn't that sweet! What a fabulous way to spend a birthday.
