M.I.A. to Bloggers: My Baby's Name is Not Ickitt!
The web was buzzing this past week about M.I.A choosing a rather unusual name for her newborn baby. Latina Magazine first reported that she named her baby, "Ickitt", then Perez Hilton, and all of the blogosphere followed suit. Well, the "Swaggalicious" rapper/singer is out to set the record straight, and took to blogging on her Myspace to do so. She did not release her child's name to the public, and doesn't know where those rumors came from. As stated on her Myspace blog:"MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE HOLLYWOOD PRESS. HES A BABY, HE DONT NEED PRESS! I DIDNT RELEASE THE BABY NAME BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK IT WAS NEWS!!!! BUT I WILL BE BACK WITH SOMETHING NEWS WORTHY SOON , TILL THEN GO PICK ON APPLE, SATCHEL AND MOON UNIT. LOTS OF LOVE STICKIT!!"
Clearly she is not someone who is ever at a loss for words.
