There was a lot going on this week and fortunately I was able to make it out to a lot of events, but unfortunately, my computer broke down :/. So you guys are going to have to be patient with me and these event reviews!

Anyway, I was too excited to see Chrisette Michele perform at Canal Room Monday night. I am a huge fan of her first album I Am and honestly I was a little concerned about her next album, because it seems like artists these days can't come out with hit albums back to back. But to my surprise, this upcoming album Epiphany may be just as good, if not better, than I Am! She definitely has more up-tempo tracks and heart felt lyrics on Epiphany. I was not surprised when Chrisette announced that Ne-yo was the Executive Producer of the album.

The line was wrapped around the block when Ian and I arrived at 7:00pm on the dot. We walked right in and immediately went to the bar (haha you know how I do!). They also had catered food, from Sushi, to Chicken Teryaki, and Shrimp. The food was great. After about an hour and a half of mingling, L.A Reid came out on stage to introduce Chrisette Michele, and when Miss. Michele came out she looked fabulous. I was enjoying myself so much during her performance I was mad that she was only on stage for 30 minutes. The event was over by 9.

Overall, it was a great night, and definitely look out for Epiphany, this is going to be a great album.
