Events: Nylon Magazine 10th Anniversary
Last night, I attend to the 10th Anniversary Party for Nylon Magazine @ Shang Hotel in LES. I haven't really been following the NYC based mag, because I am not a hipster whatsoever, but the party was actually pretty dope. The celebs really came through to show Nylon some love. Now when I tell you the door was a hot mess, that's an understatement. It was hands down worst than the madness at Keri Hilson Album Release Party. The police were outside going nuts on bystanders. I hadn't even heard about Nylon until I saw my girl Lindsay Lohan on the cover last week. Once I noticed that I wasn't getting in through that way, I took my behind right to the celeb entrance behind the fab Nina Sky. I am so feeling their new edgy look, where is that album ladies?
I was pretty surprised how low key the party actually was, "we;re at capacity my ass". The first person I noticed was Erin Lucas from The City, which I secretly live for! The event was OPEN BAR so everyone in the hotel was in a great mood. I am such a fan of exclusive hotel parties, it good to get out the clubs of NYC. I have never been a fan of the fashion crowd, but everyone was pretty welcoming for the most part. There were a lot of notable people their, I was surprised to see some faces. The person that most surprised me was AJ of 106 & Park, he is looking pretty old these days!
Overall the party was pretty cool, the best part was the gifting suite! All you had to do was sign up and they send you free clothes, shoes, and make-up. Gifts are the best things about these type of parties. I can't wait till my new leather jacket comes in the mail...You can catch more pics from the fab event below.
