Over the weekend I got the chance to catch Obsessed starring Beyonce and Idris Elba. I heard a lot of bad things about the movie, but I made the effort to see it myself and make my own judgement. The film was actually pretty good overall. There were some things that bugged me, but you can see what those were after the jump.. The first thing that bugged me about this film was the chemistry between Idris and Beyonce. I just felt that this was such a forced relationship, they were not natural at all. They both did a good job apart, well whenever Beyonce was shown without him lol. Idris and Ali Larter had amazing chemistry together. I still wish they would have chosen a black actress to play the crazy stalker chick. For example, Meagan Good, Sharon Leal, Kerry Washington, they could have even put Tia Mowry, she is crazy on The Game. I do have to say that these two above stole the film away from Miss.Beyonce. They just had this crazy sexual tension throughout the whole movie. Ali Larter played crazy very well, she was so Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. This movie had a lot of similarities to Fatal Attraction and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. They could have come up with a few more original plots. I will say all in all the movie was good. It could have been a lot better. Beyonce wasn't that bad in the film, she didn't really have enough lines or scenes to be considered bad. But she damn sure put people in the theatre seats, the movie was #1 beating out Fighting, The Soloist, and 17 Again.  I suggest that everyone sees the flick. It was pretty entertaining, that fight scene was priceless. Beyonce loves her heels, that is all I will say.
