Someone asked this question on Twitter the other day, shortly after stating that 70% of Black women are single. Then this footage of a girl proposing to her douchebag boyfriend airs on MTV (above), and it seems as if women proposing to their boyfriends is a bit more common than people think.
It seems as though society has placed so much pressure on women to be engaged or married at a certain age, but at the same time, if a woman proposes to her boyfriend, she is looked down upon.
What do you think? Ladies, if you were given the opportunity to propose to a man, would you do it? Men, would you welcome this advance, or do you feel that its not in a woman's place?
