Is This Where Rihanna Got Her Swag From?
While Rihanna was busy shopping at Barney's yesterday and partying at Greenhouse here in New York City, Def Jam singer Fefe Dobson performed at the Mercury Lounge.
Fefe Dobson is a 24 year old artist from Canada, who was signed to Def Jam a couple of years ago. She's never really gone mainstream, but managed to sell 307,000 copies of her self titled debut album in the states. She definitely has that same punk rocker appeal that Rihanna has become so famous for, so much that many people claim that Rihanna stole her "swag" right from under her nose. However, she never really caught on and was later dropped from the label. She's still definitely a talented, fab chick and is still working in the industry independently.
