Jay-Z and Frank Sinatra Battle for New York's Unofficial Theme Song
The MSG Network (Madison Square Garden, that is) has decided to let Jay-Z and Frank Sinatra battle it out online for the title of the best New York (unofficial) theme song. Frank's song "New York, New York" has been the obvious choice until Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind" hit the airwaves and your TV screens.
MSG is encouraging you to head over to msg.com/sinatra to vote for your song of choice. (Don't know, Frank Sinatra may have this one. After all, "Empire State" is a great song, but it does have a lot of drug references, etc. May not be the best representation.)
Jay-Z's 9/11 Madison Square Garden concert will re-air this Friday, December 4th on Fuse.
