We've seen Kid Cudi around town a lot---chillin' at parties, walking around Columbus Circle, taking pics with celebs at Santos Party House with a huge cheese on his face---- and although we've never actually spoken to him, from afar he seems like a really chill, cool guy.

That is until we saw this video of him punching out a fan.

According to MTV.com, after only less than a month, Kid Cudi's opening show on Lady Gaga's Monster's Ball Tour is over. Yesterday, Cudi announced via a statement that due to time conflicts, he has decided to leave the tour.

The statement read:

"Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments. Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January."

Well balancing schedule does sound better than kicked off the tour....
