Coffee Hour: How to Stay FAB for 2010--Health and Fitness Tips

Hey Ladies!---With a week into the New Year already, we have a question to ask--Have you been following your New Years Resolutions yet? We've asked around and everyone's New Years Resolution seems repetitive. We've heard, "My New Years Resolution is to lose X-amount of pounds", "...to watch what I eat", "...to hit the gym more often", "... to save Money, it's a recession dammit!" Well with a few tips from the staff here at All Thats Fab and Carmen Amara, a natural fitness and heath guru and certified energy healer, this year should be one of your best years yet!
morning #1. Revamp your morning routine by staying in bed a few extra minutes to awaken your body. Treat your limbs to a morning perfect stretch by tucking your knees towards the torso and then turning your legs from right then to the left. Turn off electrical disturbances, take a walk outside and bond with nature. Change up frequency, duration, speed and resistance to keep your body guessing. Make sure to always rest to avoid injury. Organic Carrots #6 Be natural and organic. Keep your body clean by eating and drinking natural and organic foods and liquids. For ladies night, instead of going to your favorite restaurant, have all of your friends pitch in on some groceries, and you can have a good time cooking and chatting with your friends at your own home. Not only are you saving gas money/train fair getting to your location, but you are saving money on buying an expensive meal enough for only one person, and also cooking at home is ALWAYS a healthier choice. _v_healthy_snacks #8 A high percentage of New Yorkers prefer ordering delivery during their lunch hour while at work. The best thing to do is eat a healthy breakfast every morning, and always have munchies in a zip lock bag. Such as peanuts, dried fruits, crackers, etc., and it's always best to pack a healthy lunch. YUP. Be on time to everything. When you are late to work, an event, a dinner, anything, you are at a disadvantage. People that are continuously late can't seem to grab a hold of their life. You'll see if you start organizing and being on time, you'll feel more in control. New Years Resolution should be "If I'm not 5 minutes early, then I'm late."
