We are so used to seeing reality stars fall off after leaving or the cancellation of their shows, but reality star Lauren Conrad of The Hills is doing pretty well in the world of publishing. Her second book, entitled “Sweet Little Lies” has made its way onto the New York Times Bestsellers List this week. LC seems destined for success, and we are glad to see her not following Heidi Montag's lead who is posing for the cover of Playboy.

“It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around,” Conrad told People Magazine. “All the characters have become like my friends now.”

"Sweet Little Lies" is the follow up to Conrad’s first book, “L.A. Candy". The book is centered around the day-to-day life of Jane Roberts, a Hollywood reality star. If must have been really easy for her to find inspiration :)
