Dad Called To Pick Up Daughter After Accident - Stuns Everyone When He Arrives

A girl named Lucinda, 17, is the oldest of 11 siblings. When her dad did something incredibly sweet for her kindergarten-age sister, Lucida decided to tweet about it. She was shocked that her tweet went viral and got media attention, but people just wanted to know more about the man who should be named 'Father of the Year.'

Lucinda posted a photo of her dad with the tweet, "My little sis had an accident today at kindergarten & this is how my dad left to pick her up so she wouldn't feel so sad/embarrassed."

The cute photo shows the dad with a big wet spot on the front of his pants.

It turns out, Valerie, a kindergartener, wet her pants at school. She was mortified and called her dad to tell him.

Dad Ben wet his own pants, then showed up at school to help Valerie through her crisis. “She just looked at him ... just in awe. He pretended like they were sneaking out of the school together, like they were both getting away with something,” Lucinda explains to the Independent Journal Review.

Lucinda says Ben always teaches his kids that 'as a family, [they] are all on the same team'. Apparently, he takes his own advice to heart.

Ben was shocked that the post got so much attention, but he hopes some people will see it and remember how important it is to laugh at life. "Families need to learn to laugh at life together because it helps us to maintain perspective," he told the IJR. "As a parent and foster parent, my wife and I know that there are serious issues and then there is having an accident at kindergarten. Our children know that if we can handle the little things together that we will be able to come together for the big things."

It's always heartwarming to know that there are parents out there doing such a great job.
