Woman Terrified When She Sees Where Tinder Date Brought Her

Hope springs eternal when it comes to love, and that's what keeps the internet dating industry booming. One popular hook-up site is Tinder, a convenient mobile app that matches people based on their Facebook and Spotify profiles. Unlike some online match making sites, Tinder is free, so it draws a crowd. But also unlike those costly matchmaking websites, there's no screening of clients. That means those shopping for love on Tinder know: buyer beware.

Tinder nightmare dates have become an interesting read on social media. One woman has recently added her horrible story to the mix. She says it was her 'worst date' ever. And it's probably one of the creepiest dates on Tinder yet.

Kaylee Kapital, a woman from Canada, said her Tinder date took her to dinner on the first night she met him. For the second date they went to the movies. Everything seemed reasonable, so she agreed to a third date. That's when he took her to the worst place a date could take you.

You might think a strip club, drug den or toxic waste dump would be a bad place for a date, but what this guy had in store for Kapital was even worse. He took her to a morgue.

Needless to say, Kapital was shocked when he brought her to his workplace - the morgue at the local hospital. He tried to impress her by showing her where he worked and giving her a glimpse of a dead body.

The date had started out seemingly normal enough. They went to the park. He offered her a drink. Then he offered to bring her where he works. By the time they got to the hospital, it was night. And dark.

“It was at night by this time and hospitals at night are really scary. The lights aren’t on, it’s dim, you just don’t want to be there,” Kapital recounted. "I can tell we’re in a morgue and I’m standing there thinking, ‘We should not be here. This is not OK.'"

“So then he opens one of the fridges and pulls out this little sweet old lady and is like, ‘Have you ever seen a dead body before?'" Kapital added. “Oh my god what have I gotten myself into – I’m gonna be in this morgue now. Am I next? I didn’t even look at the lady directly because I have never seen a dead body in my life and I hoped not to see a dead body in my life.”

In hindsight, Kapital said she probably should have noticed a few of the warning signs. “This guy was really weird, I’m a natural red-head and he would always make fun of ginger people," she said in a video on her YouTube channel. "I should have got a lot of red flags but I was on the rebound after being dumped so I was like I just want to get out there and have fun.”

But the guy had too sick of a sense of fun for Kapital. “I think he got off on the fact that I was grossed out. It’s like he liked looking at my reaction. It amused him. He’s psycho I guess. That was the weirdest fricking date ever.”

Many seasoned Tinder users will tell you: go with your gut.

Or better yet, go with a more reputable dating website that screens the applicants.
