Album Review: Alicia Keys - The Element Of Freedom
Alicia Keys has given the world another stellar album! We are beyond surprised that Alicia Keys delivered this great album, we weren't too excited after those first two singles. We are pleased with the entire album from beginning to end.
The lyrics are so passionate and moving. You really can't put A.Keys in a genre box this time around, she is giving everything from Pop to Soul. She seriously put in work on The Element Of Freedom. The whole album is about knowing your worth as a woman and claiming your identity.

The album is not preaching about morals or anything like that, its just keeping it real. On the track "That's How Strong My Love Is", she is letting her man know I'm the woman you need to be a better man. Basically telling him you ain't sh*t without me.

Alicia Keys had very limited features on this album. This was all about her and finding herself. Beyonce and Drake both appear on the album, both tracks are dope. But what did you really expect from those two A-Listers? It feels weird calling Drake an A-Lister before he even releases an album.
"This Bed" is another standout track on the album. She is simply telling her man that her bed is lonely without him next to her. "These king size sheets need more then just a queen in between them" is a priceless line, but that is just one of many. This track is probably one of our favorites on the entire.
Now "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" is the song that is gonna get your man right in the mood to handle business. Drake's smooth vocals in the background sets the whole song off. We love Drake as a singer, we hope he has more tracks like this on his debut album. The track is all about taking the next step in a relationship, it's not about sex, but it damn sure puts you in the mind of it.
Overall, Alicia Keys has produced a great album. It doesn't top her first two album, but it is better than "I Am". We are going to play A&R and say "Put It In A Love Song" featuring Beyonce and "Love Is My Disease" should be her next singles. They are both dope and have great chart potential.
